Scientific Name: Ctenosaura Pectinata.

Other Names: Western spiny-tailed iguana, Spiny-tailed iguana, Black spiny-tailed iguana.

Habitat: Native to Western Mexico; also introduced to United States in Florida and southern tip of Texas.

Diet: Adults are generally herbivores, eating flowers, leaves and fruit. They can also eat small animals, eggs and anthropoids. Young and juvenile pectinatas eat mostly insects.
